8th Grade Promotion Party

  • This event is Tuesday, May 28th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Pioneer MPR

  • The cost is $35.00 per student, which includes food, dancing, games, activities, and a photo booth

  • Tickets will be sold March 25th – 29th in the Pioneer Plaza during lunch (Cash or Check: Pioneer PTO).

  • Parents must complete the enclosed permission slip (blue) for their child to attend this event. Tickets will not be sold to your child without a signed parent permission slip

  • Attending students must follow all dress code guidelines, as stated in the “End of Year Guidelines” Additionally, students will be expected to dance in safe, age-appropriate styles

  • This is NOT a formal event. Additionally, contracting for a Limousine service is NOT permitted for this event

  • Students should be picked up promptly at 9:00 PM

  • Students must be academically and socially eligible to attend this event

8th Grade Promotion Field Trip to Disneyland

  • This event is Wednesday, May 29th. Buses will leave Pioneer at 7:30 AM and return to school at approximately 6:30 PM

  • The cost is $105.00 per student, which includes a Disneyland admission ticket and round trip bus transportation (Students should bring additional money for food & miscellaneous purchases)

  • Cash or Check payable to “Pioneer PTO”

  • For students with a Disneyland Pass, (please check for blackout dates with your student’s pass), the cost is $15.00 to cover transportation. Student’s Disney Passes should be brought with them on the day of the trip

  • Tickets will be sold March 25th -29th in the Pioneer Plaza during lunch

  • Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold on the day of the event

  • Parents must complete the enclosed permission slip (pink) for their child to attend this event

8th Grade Promotion

  • Pioneer’s 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be Thursday, May 23 from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at Pioneer

  • You may request a MAXIMUM of 4 ceremony tickets per family.

  • Attending students must follow all dress code guidelines, as stated in the “End of Year Guidelines”

  • All 8th grade students who have met the Tustin Unified School District promotion standards are eligible to participate in this event

  • 8th Grade Awards assembly will be held during school day on Thursday, May 23 from 8:25AM to 9:55AM

8th Grade Academic Awards Assembly

  • Any student who has not attended Pioneer during sixth, seventh, or eighth grades and who wishes to be considered for either the Six Semester 3.5 GPA Principal’s Honor Roll Award or the 4.0 GPA Presidential Honor Roll Award, please provide copies of transcripts or copies of grades to the administration office no later than Monday, May 13th.
